Mangut relieved as Nasarawa United end winless run in NPFL

Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut says he is relieved after his side ended a three-match winless run in the Nigeria Premier Football League. The Solid Miners secured a 3-0 victory over Warri Wolves at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Chimezie Victor opened the scoring from the penalty spot just before half-time, before second-half goals from Ngei Oluka-Efor and Habibu Alakija sealed the win for the home side.

Mangut described the result as a relief for the team, noting that they had contributed to their own difficult spell in recent matches. He praised the players for responding positively to the challenge.
