Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo Ideh has claimed that many Nigerian women enter relationships for financial survival and social status. He made the remarks in a post shared on his Instagram story on Tuesday.
Tuoyo, a reality television personality and nightlife promoter, said this mindset makes dating within Nigeria less appealing compared to relationships with foreign women or Nigerians living abroad. He encouraged men to consider dating outside the country.
His comments come amid ongoing public attention on relationship issues involving another former BBNaija housemate, Angel Smith, and her estranged partner, Tumininu, following allegations of infidelity and financial disputes.
