Businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has dismissed rumours that his wife, actress Rosy Meurer, has filed for divorce. The speculation began after Meurer shared a video online reintroducing herself without reference to her husband and without wearing a wedding ring, raising concerns among followers about the state of their relationship.
After days of silence, Churchill addressed the claims in a statement posted on his social media page, stating that there was no legally recognised marriage between them. He explained that their relationship did not involve a church or court wedding, but only an introduction, making any claims of divorce unfounded.
Churchill also said he had not been served with any formal divorce papers, noting that the due legal process requires proper notification of all parties involved. He questioned the authenticity of reports circulating online and expressed concern about the spread of unverified information.

The businessman further referenced his past relationship with actress Tonto Dikeh, stating that issues between them had been resolved privately.
