Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Price To N1,175 Per Litre

Dangote Refinery Lowers Petrol Price to N825 Per Litre

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-gantry price of premium motor spirit, also known as petrol, to N1,175 per litre, representing a cut of N75.

In a circular to oil marketers on Monday, the refinery said the adjustment took effect from 16 June 2026 and was linked to a reduction in global energy prices following easing tensions in the Middle East.

The company also said outstanding unloaded gantry volumes would be repriced at the new rate from midnight on 16 June. It added that the coastal price per metric tonne has been reduced from N1,595,790 to N1,495,215.

Global crude oil prices also fell, with Brent crude dropping about 5 per cent to around 82 dollars per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude declined to about 80 dollars per barrel.
