Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have opened their training camp in preparation for the 2026 WAFU B U-17 Boys Championship, which will serve as the qualifying tournament for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
The team is currently training at the Gold Project Pitch in Abuja as they begin preparations for the regional competition. Nigeria has failed to qualify for the last two editions of the U-17 AFCON.
Head coach Eboboritse Uwejamomere is leading the selection process to assemble a squad for the tournament, with assistance from Olumide Ajibolade, Mohammed Kachala and Abdullahi Isa. The objective is to secure qualification for the continental championship.
