Nigerian actress Angela Okorie has revealed that she burnt the outfit she wore to the burial of actor Alexx Ekubo following advice from her godmother.
Okorie disclosed this in a post on her Instagram story on Monday, where she shared a video showing the outfit being set on fire. She said her godmother advised that clothes worn to burial ceremonies should not be kept and should instead be destroyed.
The burial of Alexx Ekubo took place last week in his hometown of Aziukwubwo Ujori village in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State. The actor died on May 11 at the age of 40 after a prolonged battle with stage 4 kidney cancer.
In her post, Okorie said she shared the information with family and friends and offered prayers for long life and good health.
