The All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, has emphasised the importance of regulating and institutionalising the music entertainment industry as it joins millions of music fans to express grief over the sudden demise of pop star, Mohbad.
AFRIMA President and Executive Producer, Mr. Mike Dada, said Africa has lost a promising talent in a shocking manner.

He stressed that institutionalisation of the music/entertainment industry remains a top priority in curbing unprofessional practices within the industry.
AFRIMA is leveraging its platform to organise a stakeholder summit aimed at engaging the legislative arm of governments across Africa through the African Union.
