Governors under the All Progressives Congress have formally endorsed President Bola Tinubu as the party’s sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election. The endorsement came during the APC National Summit held in Abuja.
Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, announced the endorsement, saying governors were satisfied with the midterm performance review of the Tinubu administration.

Governor Uzodimma stated that the governors take full responsibility for delivering the APC’s renewed mandate in their respective states. He moved a motion for adoption, which was seconded by the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.
The endorsement was passed through a voice vote, with majority of party leaders at the summit expressing support for the President’s candidacy.
