Argentina beats France on Penalties to win 2022 World Cup

Argentina is now the Champions of the World after beating France 4-2 on Penalties to win the 2022 edition of the FIFA World Cup after the game finished 3-3 at 90 minutes and extra time. 

In the shootout, Argentine goalkeeper Emilano Martinez seems to be the hero of the evening after saving one of the French teams’ penalties. 

But the shoot- out was eventually decided when Real Madrid starlet Aurélien Tchouaméni lost another penalty for the French. 

Sevilla Right Back Gonzalo Montiel, minutes later scored the winning penalty for the Argentines.
