Atiku Camp Downplays Rift in Opposition Coalition, Dismisses Exit Rumours

The camp of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has downplayed reports of tension within the opposition coalition led by the African Democratic Congress, ADC, insisting any dispute over the 2027 presidential ticket will be settled by party delegates.

According to his Spokesperson, Mr. Paul Ibe, key figures—Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi—had agreed to make sacrifices when forming the alliance. He described reports of a crisis as exaggerated, blaming overzealous supporters for stirring unease.
