Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has confirmed she has relocated to New York, describing the move as a natural transition both personally and professionally. Speaking during an online live session, the singer said she has been in the city for less than two months but already feels deeply connected to it.
Ayra Starr noted that the energy and fast-paced rhythm of New York remind her strongly of Lagos, the city where she grew up. She added that she has always felt like a New Yorker in spirit, even before making the move official.
