Bandits Threaten To Marry Zamfara Girls If They Fail To Settle N12 Million Ransom

Four women who were abducted by bandits six months ago, say their abductors have threatened to marry them off if they fail to pay N12 million ransom before the end of July.

In a two-minute video clip released by the bandits on Sunday, the women are seen crying and calling for help from both Governor Dauda Lawal Dare and the general public.

The victims were kidnapped along the Birnin Magaji-Kaura Namoda Road in Zamfara State and have been in captivity for six months now. 

They repeatedly appealed to the state governor to do something urgently to get them released and returned to their families.
