Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki says the state’s decision to reduce the number of ministries was to curb the systemic waste of the past administration.
The State Governor, Dauda Lawal Dare, recently reduced the number of ministries in the state from 28 to 16.

Hon. Moriki, who was speaking to journalists in Kaduna at the weekend, said the Zamfara State House of Assembly was in full support of the reduction.
He said it was no longer business as usual in the state as the new administration had set in progress the machinery to bring Zamfara back on the path of peace and development.
