A notorious bandit kingpin popularly known as Madaki Mansur and 12 of his men have been killed by operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command.
According to the police Mansur has been notorious for terrorizing Alkaleri Local Government Area and other neighboring states of Taraba, Plateau, and Gombe.
The Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who announced the killing of the kingpin in a statement said that the joint operation of security operatives at about 0230hrs yesterday engaged suspected bandits/kidnappers in four different hideouts; Mansur, Digare, Gwana and Dajin Madam in Alkaleri forest.
