Brazilian Football Legend, Pele, Dies At 82

Edson Arantes do Nascimento known to the world as the Brazilian football legend Pele has died at the age of 82. 

Considered by many to be the greatest player ever, Pele died in a hospital in his home country, Brazil, surrounded by family. 

Part of his legacy includes leading his national team to four World Cup tournaments and winning three of them in 1958, 1962, and 1970. 

He was named Fifa’s Player of the Century in 2000. 

Brazil has announced three days of national mourning in his honour as fans across the world pay tribute to him.
