Brighton and Hove Albion head coach Fabian Hürzeler has expressed his excitement following the arrival of Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna at the club. The Premier League side completed the signing of the highly rated teenager from AIK on Saturday after reportedly fending off competition from Chelsea and Newcastle.
Yohanna’s move caps a rapid rise for the youngster, who left Ikon Allah Football Academy in Kaduna for Sweden just over a year ago and has impressed with nine goal contributions in 12 appearances for AIK this year.
Speaking about the club’s newest recruit, Hürzeler highlighted the qualities that convinced Brighton to move for the teenager, telling BBC Sport that he is looking forward to working with Zadok and that, having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player who can impact games in the final third.
