Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright says she ventured into acting so her children would be able to find her when they grew older.
Speaking during a panel session at an event in Lagos, the actress said she never intended to become famous. She revealed that her children were taken away from her at a young age after she married into a wealthy family that doubted her future prospects.
Ms Wright said the experience was painful, but added that she is proud of what she has achieved in the Nigerian film industry.
