Anticipation is mounting ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations as the Confederation of African Football prepares to unveil a redesigned tournament trophy.
The new silverware, set for launch on Wednesday, 2 July, is part of CAF’s broader effort to elevate women’s football on the continent.

The unveiling will take place in Morocco, this year’s host nation, in collaboration with CAF sponsors.
Fans can view the trophy on CAF’s digital platforms by Wednesday afternoon, with a formal presentation scheduled later that evening.
CAF says the redesign reflects President Patrice Motsepe’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and excellence in African football.
