The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, has urged troops across the country to redouble their efforts in the ongoing war against insecurity.
The army chief said their efforts in the ongoing fight against terrorism, banditry, and oil theft among others, have not gone unnoticed, as he urged them to put in more effort.

In a statement felicitating with Muslims on the celebration of Eid-El-Fitr, he charged the troops to collaborate with other security agencies and not relent in their efforts toward achieving sustainable peace in the troubled parts of the country.
Lt. Gen. Lagbaja assured them that in return, he would prioritize their welfare.
