Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, stepped aside from a fan’s comparison between her and colleague, Tiwa Savage.
After posting on her X (formerly Twitter) page to celebrate her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Ivory Coast, a fan commented that she was better than Tiwa Savage.

Deflecting the fan’s comment, Alade urged him to support and celebrate them both, stressing that they are both winning.
Describing comparison as what she called, the thief of joy, she urged the fan to support her and her colleagues in the industry.
