Former dancehall star Cynthia Morgan has triggered a flurry of reactions on social media after openly criticising Natasha Osawaru, fiancee of Nigerian music legend 2Baba, over the singer’s recent public apology.
In a series of Instagram posts, Morgan suggested that 2Baba may have been pressured into making the statement, following a widely discussed interview. She questioned the motivations behind the apology and called on the public to pray for the musician.

Morgan also cast doubt on 2Baba’s suitability for monogamy, given his age and family background, and raised questions about his religious identity.
Her comments, which implied that the singer is struggling under the weight of expectations, have sparked a wider conversation about privacy, celebrity marriages, and the pressures facing public figures in Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
