Dangote reduces PMS price by ₦30, promises steady supply

Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Prices to ₦875–₦905

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of petrol by ₦30, bringing it down from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre. The change took effect on Tuesday, August 12, according to a statement from the company’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina.

The refinery said the price cut reflects its commitment to national development and its assurance of a steady and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products. It described the move as part of broader efforts to support the country’s energy needs.

In a further step towards sustainable fuel distribution, the company will begin the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas-powered trucks from August 15. The vehicles will be used to distribute fuel across Nigeria.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery said the initiative aligns with its dedication to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions. It pledged to continue exploring innovations that enhance efficiency in the downstream oil sector.
