Dangote Refinery Raises Petrol Price to ₦1,175 per Litre

Dangote to Double Refinery Output in Three Years, Targeting World’s Largest Capacity

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has increased its ex-depot price for Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, to ₦1,175 per litre, while Automotive Gas Oil, or diesel, now sells at ₦1,620 per litre.

According to industry publication Petroleumprice.ng, the new pricing template has been communicated to marketers and represents the fourth price review by the refinery in less than two weeks.

Under the revised structure, the petrol price has risen from ₦995 per litre, while diesel has increased from ₦1,430 per litre.

The adjustments come amid rising global oil prices, with Brent crude trading at $102.8 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate at about $101.0 per barrel. The refinery had not issued an official statement on the latest price change.
