The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has commended President Bola Tinubu for mustering the courage to remove petrol subsidy and floating the naira.
Speaking in Benin City, during an interactive session with journalists yesterday, the state’s party Chairman, Mr. Tony Aziegbemi, said the two economic policies already implemented by the Tinubu-led government will give Nigeria an excess of N2 trillion.

Mr Aziegbemi however, cautioned that the palliatives that will be handed out following the subsidy removal will determine the success of the economic policies.
Responding to questions on why he commended an opposition-led federal government, Mr. Aziegbemi said “It’s the paradigm shift in politics the PDP is bringing onboard.
