President Bola Tinubu says the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is committed to ensuring democratic stability returns to Niger Republic.
President Tinubu said this while delivering his closing remarks at the second ECOWAS extraordinary summit in Abuja.
ECOWAS says the use of force is its last option to force the junta to relinquish power to ousted president Mohammed Bazoum.
President Tinubu, who is also ECOWAS Chairman, insists that all is not lost just yet, and the outcome of the summit is a testament to the power of collaboration and unity.
He reaffirmed the commitment of ECOWAS to the people of Niger and the progress of the entire west african community.
