Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, Nancy Nnadi—widely known as Coach Nancy—has confirmed that peace talks are under way to resolve the royalty dispute involving gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
The development follows a court case filed by Chinwo in January 2025, accusing her former label head, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, popularly known as Eezee Tee, of diverting over $345,000 in royalties.
Although Chinwo parted ways with the label two years ago, tensions resurfaced when Nnadi publicly accused her of financial misconduct—an allegation that prompted Chinwo to file a defamation suit demanding a retraction and public apology.
In a weekend statement, Nnadi withdrew the claims, citing legal advice and the intervention of respected Christian leaders. She expressed hope for a peaceful resolution between Chinwo and EeZee Conceptz.
