Emergency Responders Avert Petrol Tanker Explosion In Lagos

Emergency responders averted a petrol tanker explosion in the Surulere area of Lagos State yesterday.

The tanker, which was laden with petrol, fell off Stadium Bridge inward Barracks/Ojuelegba onto Funsho Williams Avenue.

Adebayo Taofiq, Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), says fuel from the fallen tanker had spread across to the other side of the expressway.
