The Chairman of Enugu East local government Area, Beloved-Dan Anike has signed an executive order banning the proliferation of unauthorised groups masquerading as taskforce for agricultural produce and traffic management particularly around the Abakpa-Ugwogoopi express road and the Enugu-Abakaliki express road.
In a press briefing held at the Enugu East LGA secretariat, Mr. Anike noted that the activities of those individuals whom he described as miscreants have resulted in an alarming risk of breeding gangsters, extortion and other sundry crimes.
The order, his first act after being sworn-in as the chairman, Enugu East local government area of Enugu State, also involved the setting up of a seven man committee to be headed by Peter Aneke to ensure full implementation of the ban.

Radio Now’s Chibuike Peter reports that the chairman also used the medium to felicitate with Nigerians on this year’s democracy day celebration.
