Éric Sékou Chelle, a former Lens defender, has been officially unveiled as the new Head Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, heralding a new chapter for the nation’s senior men’s football team.
The Nigeria Football Federation’s Executive Committee confirmed the appointment following a recommendation from its Technical and Development Sub-Committee.

Chelle, who has previously managed Mali and brings significant experience from both club and international football, faces the immediate task of steering the Super Eagles to qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
