The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has reiterated its commitment to promoting football development in Abuja. The association’s chairman, Adam Mouktar Mohammed, made this pledge following the election of Alhaji Salihu Kolo as the new 1st Vice Chairman of the FA.
Mohammed commended the transparent and fair electoral process, managed by the Electoral and Appeal Committee, which ensured the smooth conduct of the elections. He emphasised that the association remains focused on advancing football at all levels within the FCT.

To achieve this, the FCT FA board announced plans to establish new committees aimed at driving football development across the territory.
As part of its reforms, the FCT FA has also dissolved all standing committees, including the Electoral and Appeal Committee, alongside other special committees, to pave the way for a renewed focus on football promotion and governance.
