President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a two-week break in Lagos, where he celebrated Eid al-Adha and attended the 50th anniversary of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). The President was seen off at Murtala Mohammed International Airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other officials.
During his stay, President Tinubu commissioned several projects, including the first phase of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the reconstruction of the access road to the Lekki Deep Seaport. The events were attended by business leaders and government representatives.

Upon his arrival in Abuja, the President inaugurated the rehabilitated and refurbished Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, which was renamed in his honour. Speaking at the event, he described the centre as a reflection of the nation’s resilience and commitment to excellence.
President Tinubu also urged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to ignore distractions and focus on his task of transforming Abuja into a modern city that represents the best of Nigeria’s character and spirit.
