Telecommunications company MTN Nigeria says the network outage experienced by its subscribers on Wednesday was caused by multiple fibre cuts.
Taking to its X handle, the telecoms company apologised to its subscribers who number 87,038,768 as of December 2023, according to data by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

Many subscribers were stranded with some persons visiting MTN offices nearest to them to get explanations.
