The Super Eagles interim coach, Finidi George, has given reasons why his team lost to the Eagles of Mali in an international friendly match held in Marrakech, Morocco.
He attributed the Super Eagles’ 2-0 loss to Mali on Tuesday, to costly errors made by his team.

While he regretted the missed chances in the game, he applauded the team for their dominant performance.
The Super Eagles now turn their attention to the June 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
