Another fire outbreak has been reported on Lagos Island, only hours after a separate incident at Afriland Tower. The latest blaze occurred at Emab Plaza, a four-storey building located behind Mandilas on Taiwo Street.
The fire, which started on the fourth floor around 7:23 p.m. on Tuesday, spread to adjoining apartments and sent thick smoke billowing across the area. Eyewitnesses said parts of neighbouring buildings were also affected before firefighters contained the flames.
