Former US President Donald Trump is facing federal charges over his handling of classified documents after he left the White House in 2021.
Local media reports that though the charges have not yet been made public, the former President faces seven charges including unauthorised retention of classified files,.

This is the second indictment of Mr Trump and the first ever federal indictment of a former US president.
Legal experts say the indictments will not affect Mr Trump’s ability to run for the presidency again.
