Defending Champions France has booked the second spot in the Final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after beating Morroco 2-0 in the second semi -final match of the competition yesterday.
AC Millan Left Back, Theo Hernandez scored the opening goal early in the fifth minute of the game, while substitute and Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani sealed the win for the European side in the 79th minute.
Although Morocco didn’t make it easy for France, they failed to level up with the defending champions and were unable to find the back of the net even after 13 shots and three shots on target.
France will now meet Argentina who beat Croatia in the first of the Semi- Finals on Tuesday in the final which will take place on Sunday, December 18.
