Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has achieved another Guinness World Record, this time for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice. The feat was officially confirmed by Guinness World Records after she cooked 8,780 kilograms of the popular West African dish in Lagos.
The record-breaking attempt took place on 12 September at the Eko Hotels and Suites during the Gino World Jollof Festival, which drew thousands of visitors and created a major stir on social media. The event celebrated Nigerian culinary culture on a grand scale.

Chef Baci first gained global attention in 2023 when she set the record for the longest cooking marathon. With this latest milestone, she further cements her reputation as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated chefs. The event was attended by celebrities and public figures who turned out to support her achievement.
