European Giants Eye Nigeria's Felix Agu as Transfer Interest Builds

Nigerian international Felix Agu has become the subject of mounting transfer interest from top clubs in England, Germany, and Italy.

The 25-year-old Werder Bremen full-back, who recently debuted for the Super Eagles, is attracting attention despite no official bids being lodged. His €8 million release clause expired in May, handing the Bundesliga side firm control over any future deal.

Werder Bremen’s head of football, Clemens Fritz, insists the club intends to keep Agu, calling him integral to their plans.

Agu, born in Germany to Nigerian parents, made his international bow for Nigeria in May against Jamaica.

While Bremen remains firm, sources suggest Agu is open to a new challenge. With elite clubs circling, his future may hinge on whether suitors match the German club’s valuation.
