If You Violate Our Sovereignty, We’ll Make You Regret It, Iran Tells Israel

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on Thursday has warned that his country would make Israel regret any attack on them in response to their weekend barrage of missiles and drones against Israel.

Tehran’s first-ever direct attack on Israel over the weekend came in the wake of a deadly attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, widely blamed on Israel. Nearly all of the projectiles were intercepted before reaching their targets.

Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, who was speaking to the UN Security Council, also said his country’s legitimate defence and counter measures have been concluded, and as a result, the Israeli government must be compelled to stop what he called any further military adventurism against Iranian interests.
