The Federal Government says the incoming administration should prioritise rural electrification given the achievements made so far in the sector.
Speaking at a briefing with State House correspondents, the Minister of State for Power, Prince Jeddy Agba says the Rural Electrification Agency, REA, is a star agency which requires better attention and priority .

He says through the REA, many communities across the six geopolitical zones have been touched in remarkable ways.
The Minister also says the agency’s focus is on taking power to the remote and rural parts of the country, adding that none of the REA projects have been sited in any city.
