Inter Milan Push for Lookman as Atalanta Hold Firm

Inter Milan have intensified efforts to sign Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, submitting an improved €40 million offer, with a further €5 million tied to performance bonuses.

The Serie A giants are keen to strengthen their attack ahead of the new season, identifying Lookman as a key target following a standout campaign in which he contributed 27 goals and assists across competitions.

Despite Inter’s renewed push, no agreement has been reached, with Atalanta reportedly demanding €50 million for the 27-year-old—who joined from RB Leipzig for €11 million in 2022.

Lookman remains under contract until 2027, giving Atalanta a strong negotiating position.

Inter president Giuseppe Marotta has suggested that the coming days could prove decisive, though Atalanta’s firm stance continues to complicate the deal.
