Former Italian sporting director Enrico Fedele has weighed in on mounting speculation linking Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman with a move to Napoli.
With Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia now at Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli are reportedly lining up Lookman as a potential replacement. The Super Eagles forward has impressed since joining Atalanta in 2022, delivering consistent performances over three seasons.

Speaking on Radio Marte, Fedele said Lookman can make the leap in quality, noting his contract situation could make a deal possible despite Atalanta’s high asking price.
He also suggested the Nigerian is closing the gap on Kvaratskhelia in terms of influence and skill, calling the transfer “a favourable situation for Napoli.”
As the transfer window heats up, the 27-year-old’s future remains one of Serie A’s most closely watched storylines.
