The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. The board also announced the delisting of 20 computer-based test centres over technical issues that affected the exercise in parts of the country.
The mock examination held on March 27 was disrupted in several centres, leaving many candidates stranded after delays and system failures. The situation triggered widespread reactions and complaints, especially on social media.
JAMB says candidates can now check their results on its portal or by sending a text message using the same phone number used during registration. Over 224,000 candidates registered for the mock exam, while more than 152,000 eventually sat for the test across 989 centres nationwide.

The board has warned candidates to avoid fraudsters who claim to help inflate scores, describing such acts as criminal. It added that offenders risk cancellation of their registration or withdrawal of results. The main UTME is scheduled to begin on April 16, 2026.
