Kogi State has, once again, won the fiscal transparency and accountability award in a survey conducted across states in north-central Nigeria.
The 2022 award was presented at the state capital on Tuesday during the launch of the 2022 North Central State Budget Transparency Survey Report.

The report was carried out by the Social Economic Research and Development Centre (SERDEC).
The National Coordinator of the survey, Mr. Tijani Abdulkareem, said the objective of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Program is to promote focus and attention of states towards the improvement of their budget performance.
