Lagos Seals Idioro Market Over Poor Sanitary Conditions

Alamutu market at Idioro in Mushin area of Lagos has been sealed today by the State Government due to its poor sanitary conditions.

The Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, made this announcement in a statement on X (formerly Twitter). Meanwhile  traders at the popular Ladipo International auto spare parts market, Mushin were in lamentation mode yesterday as they struggled to make ends meet following the closure of the market four days ago.

Wahab had on Friday, September 29, ordered the closure of the market over environmental offences.
