The gifts and recognition came during the closing ceremony for Islamic scholars  presenting this year’s Ramadan Tafsir in Bauchi.

The Bauchi State branch of JIBWIS says Salihu Kankia found a bag containing a large sum of money, exceeding one hundred million naira, which he promptly took to the police station. The owner of the money was successfully located and his property, after verification that nothing was missing, was returned to him.
