Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of deceased singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (a.k.a Mohbad), on yesterday, told a coroner’s court that Mohbad had been living with singer Azeez Fashola (a.k.a Naira Marley) since December 2019.
The inquest into the late musician’s death began on Oct. 13, and is taking place at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State.
Mr. Aloba told the Coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, that he and his son lived together for 18 years until his son left at the age of consent and began to assist Marley while embarking on his own career in music.

He also said he saw the deceased three days before his death, and according to him, his son assured him that he would be able to handle his dispute with Marley.
Testifying further, he said his late son’s landed property was in the custody of his mother-in-law, adding that Mohbad often told him about his possessions held by his wife and her family.
He claimed that Mohbad’s wife put sleeping pills into his food when they lived with Marley, and that his daughter-in-law had been unfaithful to his son.
