Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has marked the birthday of her son, Liam Aloba, with a message reaffirming her love and commitment to his well-being.
She described the child as central to her life and pledged to continue protecting and supporting him.
The celebration comes amid an ongoing paternity dispute involving Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, who has requested a DNA test to confirm the biological father of the child. The issue has drawn public attention following the singer’s death in September 2023.
A Lagos State Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu has directed that a DNA test be conducted to determine the paternity of Liam Aloba. The order was issued by Magistrate Adefisoye Sonuga after an application filed by Joseph Aloba.
