A helicopter belonging to the Nigerian Air Force has crashed in Niger State.
The ill-fated aircraft was heading to Kaduna State when the unfortunate incident happened on Monday.
Director of Public Relations and Information of the Force, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, said the aircraft crashed in Chukuba, a village in Shiroro Local Government Area.

Air Commodore Gabkwet added that the two pilots who were on board survived the crash after successfully ejecting before impact.Â
He also said there was no loss of lives or damage to any property around the crash site.
The accident comes exactly a month after a Nigerian Air Force trainer aircraft crashed in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
