The Nigerian Economic Summit Group, NESG, an independent, non-partisan think tank organisation, has urged the nation’s political elite to encourage the development of accountability and fast-track economic reforms.

Speaking at the NESG public lecture and founder’s forum to commemorate its 30th anniversary at the Lagos Business School on Thursday, Lanre Akinbo, a board member of the NESG, said the group will deepen its work as policy interveners instead of just partners with the government.
